On a yearly basis MDCPartners organizes a conference aimed at the Benelux medical device industry and healthcare sector. These meetings aim to enhance the communication and learning between regulators, standards developers, manufacturers and end-users. Each conference focuses on a specific theme within the regulatory arena and a selection of relevant standards and guidelines for the devices used in that context. Please note: due to due to logistical issues and conflicts in timing we are forced to pass over this year’s symposium (2009)

MDCPartners will be presenting at the following session: "A Closer look at Standards for Medical Devices" on Tuesday 15th September 2009 at 3:30-5:00PM This session will address the increasing role that standards (design, testing, labeling) are playing as de facto requirements for global premarket submissions, and why regulatory professionals need to understand more about this increasingly critical area. The discussion will include a look at how emerging developments and trends are shaping medical device regulation.
